About this business
Polished Artificial Grass supplies and installs artificial grass for homes, schools and businesses in Leeds, Harrogate, London, York, Wakefield and beyond. The company states that it only uses high-quality artificial grass that has been tested for longevity and safety, and that its lawns require virtually no maintenance compared with a traditional grass lawn.
The website states that the team has been fitting and installing synthetic grass for over 15 years, and that the key to a successful installation is a solid foundation. Materials used for the base include sand, granite, limestone, concrete and membranes, with drainage built in to avoid water gathering in the middle of the lawn. All installations come with a 10 year guarantee.
The company sells and installs 10 different types of artificial grass, varying in colour, yarn type and length, all with UV protection built into every blade. It reports having installed artificial grass in school playgrounds and a number of sports pitches around the country, and offers impact matting to help absorb the impact of falls from heights.
