Leeds United Foundation
The official charity of Leeds United, delivering football and sports programmes across Leeds.

About this business
The Leeds United Foundation is the official charity of Leeds United Football Club. Through education, wellbeing and sport it aims to empower and inspire young people to find a sense of belonging, grow in confidence, develop skills and build better lives. It delivers at scale across all of Leeds but concentrates on the most underserved communities.
Its football and sports work includes seven weekly Skill Centres and a Technical Centre run as part of the club's player pathway. The Skill Centres comprise one-hour weekly training sessions, while the Technical Centre lasts one hour and fifteen minutes and includes a regular games programme. Both follow a syllabus focused on the Leeds United Way and on individual development, and players showing the right attributes can be referred through the pathway into the Academy.
Other provision includes Soccer Schools for 5 to 12 year olds, delivered by FA qualified coaches who are DBS checked and first aid trained, the Premier League Kicks programme, which engages over 1,000 young people a year, and Active Through Football, a five-year community-led project funded by the Football Foundation in Burmantofts, Richmond Hill, Hunslet, Beeston and Holbeck.
